Lab Manager

Location: Asheboro, NC

Job Title: Lab Manager

Responsibilities: Oversee implementation of new tech and record keeping. Effectively implement  safety and security guidelines. Must be able to carry out extraction, extraction processing, and product formulation in compliance with all State, FDA GMP’s and OSHA regulations. Support new product and process development work with Process/ Product Development team. Lead team of lab technicians to ensure that lab is meeting all guidelines by developing and implementing a KPI system.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

  • Must be able to taste and/or smell

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • 8-10 years of laboratory experience

  • 5 Years of management experience

  • 18 months of experience with extraction principles and techniques
